Mosaic Tiles are available in tumbled or polished marble at the same price.

Prices shown are for one square foot (12 x12 inches) of mesh backed marble in the standard 15mm size.

Please be aware that the sheet size offered by some other manufacturers is smaller and covers an area 11.75 x 11.75 inches and the grout spacing used in these sheets will not match our sheets.

We have a minimum order policy of 50 mosaic sheets per marble type and the prices shown are based on this quantity. Smaller quantities may be purchased at a higher price. Larger quantities are discounted - discounts are based on the quantity ordered and range from 10 to 40 percent.

10mm SPECIFICATIONS

The average size of each tesserae is .375 inch (10mm) square size. Individual tumbled marble pieces are slightly smaller in size than polished pieces due to removal of material in the tumbling process. An amazing 625 tesserae per square foot! Priced 15% higher than our standard size due to the additional manufacturing costs.

15mm SPECIFICATIONS

The average size of each tesserae is .625 inch (15mm). Individual tumbled marble pieces are slightly smaller in size than polished pieces due to removal of material in the tumbling process. There are 324 tesserae per square foot sheet.

25mm SPECIFICATIONS

The average size of each tesserae is 1 inch (25mm) square size. Individual tumbled marble pieces are slightly smaller in size than polished pieces due to removal of material in the tumbling process. There are 121 tesserae per square foot sheet. Priced the same as our 15mm sheets. 25mm sizes are available by special order only.

SPECIFICATIONS COMMON TO ALL SIZES

The actual size of each standard sheet is 10mm thick (about 3/8 inch) by a little under 12 inches square - with appropriate grout space the coverage is one square foot. Tesserae sheets are also available in the thinner 8mm (about 1/4 inch) thickness by special order. The image of tumbled Copper Yellow marble above shows a comparison of the 8mm and 10mm sizes.

We recommend the 10mm mosaic sheets for flooring and wall use. The 8mm mosaic sheets are ideal for wall surfaces and use in applications with 8mm glass or ceramic materials.

Grout spacing and height of the individual pieces is very consistent and the mesh backing makes installation as easy as installing conventional marble tile.

This marble is suitable for use anywhere a marble surface is desired in the interior or exterior.

SPECIAL SERVICES

Mosaic tiles are available with one or more edges polished or machined from our factory at additional cost. This service is a real time saver and eliminates the need for additional trim in many installations. A few examples are stair risers, outside corners of a wall and installations that cover only part of a wall where the tile edge is exposed at the top.

10mmx15mmx150mm Edging is available to terminate our Mosaic Sheets. It is manufactured from the same marble used in our sheets and must be ordered at the same time. Please contact us for pricing.
