| We import our mosaics from several different manufacturers in China and ship from the port of entry to your door. We stock only a few popular items and reorder monthly keeping our inventory, and related costs, low. |
| We do not have a showroom to maintain - we sell only online. We do not offer a catalog as our mosaic designs are constantly changing and it is far more efficient to update our website when required. Dollars spent on producing a catalog easily add 10% to your final cost and the catalog is rarely up to date. |
| The designs in our medallions are generic in nature and repeatedly produced from the same templates. We believe our selection is large enough to fit the needs of most customers without resorting to custom designs but custom designs, marble and sizes are available if desired - see a few examples HERE. Please contact us for pricing and more information about ordering custom medallions. |
| We stock only tumbled mosaic medallions - of course polished medallions are also available in most of the designs as a special order. The finished look and color of the tumbled medallions may be altered to personal tastes by using a color enhancing sealer (more here). Our medallions are furnished without any sealer applied by our factory so you have the option to select the look you like. |
| The marble used in our medallions is of high quality but of the more common types. Exotic and expensive types of marble are usually not needed in the construction of quality mosaics as less expensive and more readily available marble can almost always be substituted to obtain the same color. | Many of our less expensive mosaics feature larger chips (tesserae) which are less costly to produce and apply. The most commonly used size in medallions is 15mm square - usually the smaller the chip size the more expensive the mosaic. The standard medallions are all 10mm (3/8 inch) thick but other heights are available as a special order. We offer a large assortment of mosaics that will fit most applications and budgets. |
| All mosaic medallions are mesh backed allowing for fast, easy and precise installation! Installation instructions are included with each medallion and we are qualified to assist you with any installation problems you may have. |
